Weather Update: Partly Cloudy Skies with Thunderstorms in Hilly Regions

The latest weather update brought to you by the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Meteorological Forecasting Division.

Today's Weather:

Expect partly to generally cloudy conditions throughout the country today. While most areas will remain dry, there's a chance of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some places within the hilly regions of the country. Additionally, a few areas in the rest of the country may also experience these weather conditions.

Tonight's Forecast:

Tonight, the country will continue to experience partly to generally cloudy skies. There's a possibility of light rain or thunderstorms with lightning occurring in a few places within the Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, and Lumbini Province.

Meteorological Analysis:

The current meteorological situation indicates that the Axis of the Monsoon Trough is positioned to the north of its average location. Furthermore, a low-pressure area in and around western Assam is influencing the weather patterns in our region.
