Upper Tamakoshi’s IPO gets postponed; Issue to start from Shrawan 16 for the locals of Dolakha district

The wait for the IPO of Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Company has extended again as the issue has been postponed. The recently revised issue date of the IPO will start from Shrawan 16, 2075 till Bhadra 14, 2075 for the locals of the project affected area.

Initially, the issue was set to start from Ashadh 24, 2075 till Shrawan 09, 2075.

Recently, the MP of Dolakha district had raised the issue of the issue date in the parliament. She had said that the month of Ashadh is a favourable time for the farmers as well as period of closure for the banking institutions. So, she had demanded to postpone the issue date.

The meeting of the District Coordination Committee held on Ashadh 18, had taken the decision to postpone the issue date to Shrawan 16, 2075.

The hydropower company is issuing 1,05,90,000 unit shares for the locals of Dolakha district which is 10% of the capital. Citizen Investment Trust and Sunrise Capital have been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO issuance.
