Upper Tamakoshi cancel AGM due to absence of minimum limit of shareholders required to convene the AGM; minimum presence of 67% shareholding investors required

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Upper Tamakoshi (UPPER) which was supposed to be convened today at 11 AM, was cancelled.

The AGM was cancelled due to absence of minimum limit of shareholders required to convene the AGM. As per the companies act, shareholders holding at least 67% of the shares of the company are required to endorse an agenda in the AGM. Since, shareholders holding only 56% of the shares of the company (including proxies) were present, the AGM was cancelled.

The AGM was due today at Pragya Pratisthan, Kamaladi from 11 AM onwards. As per the company officials, another AGM will be announced soon.

The main agendas of the meeting was to elect 4 directors from public shareholders group.

Other agendas of the meeting included endorsement of audited financial report for the FY 2074/75 and appointment of statutory auditor for the FY 2075/76.
