Unnati Microfinance’s 3rd AGM today; to endorse 25% right shares

Unnati Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited (UMB) will be conducting its 3^rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Chaitra 21, 2074 i.e. today. The AGM is going to be held at Hotel Pauwa, (6, Children Park, Bhairahawa, Rupandehi) at 8:30 AM. The main agendas of the AGM are:

• To endorse the decision of increasing the authorized capital, issued capital and pid-up capital.
• To endorse 4:1 (25%) right shares of paid-up capital.
• To increase the working area of the company.
• To amend the Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Articles of Association (AOA).
• To increase the meeting allowance of the Board of Directors.

Other agendas of the AGM include endorsement of financial highlights of the FY 2073/74 and appointment of the auditor for the FY 2074/745. The book closure date for the AGM had been set on Chaitra 7, 2074. Thus, shareholders owning their shares one day ahead of the book closure i.e. till Chaitra 6, 2074 are entitled for proposed dividends and for participation in the AGM. The current paid up capital of the company is Rs 5.50 crore and the worth of proposed right share is Rs 1.3750 crore. After the issue of the proposed right share the capital of the company would stand at Rs 6.875 crore. UMB has earned Rs 1.16 crore in the second quarter of the FY 2074/75. See the notice of AGM here
