Universal Power Company posts third quarter highlights for FY 75/76; net profit stands at Rs.42.57 Lakhs

Universal Power Company Limited (UPCL) has published its third-quarter report for the FY 2075/76 today.

According to the unaudited financial report, the hydropower shows a net profit of Rs. 42.57 Lakhs till the month of Chaitra. The earnings before tax stand at Rs. 56.76 Lakhs.

The total income of UPCL stands at Rs. 1.10 Crore. However, the company has not yet started the commercial sale of electricity produced. The total expenses stand at Rs. 53.94 Lakhs.

Its current paid-up capital stands at Rs 2.10 arba with Rs 15.05 Lakhs as reserve fund. The long term loans of the hydropower company stand at Rs. 88.86 Crore.

It has reported earnings per share of Rs. 0.60 and net worth per share is at Rs. 100.07. The PE ratio as per the report stands at 156.10 times.
