Universal Power Company concludes Board meeting endorsing proposals for AGM

Universal Power company (UPCL) had held a Board meeting on Baisakh 10, 2076 and the meeting has passed a list of agendas to be discussed in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of FY 2074/75.

• Discussion and approval of annual report for FY 2074/75
• Discussion and approval of financial statements and audit report
• Appointment of Auditor for FY 2075/76
• Appointment of 4 Directors for class A shareholders (Promoter shareholders) and 3 Directors from Class B shareholders (Ordinary shareholders) including one woman.

The company has declared Baisakh 22, 2076 to Jestha 20, 2076 as book closure date for AGM.

It is currently developing Tallo Khare Khola Hydropower Project which has installed capacity of 11 MW. The project is located at Dolakha District, Gaurishanker Rural Municipality, ward no-5, 6 and 8. The company owns generation license of the project.
