Fri, Mar 15, 2019 3:04 PM on Featured, SS Pro, Stock Market,

NEPSE index movement:

The index opened at 1127.29 points and closed at 1155.50 points with the huge gain of 28.21 points (2.50%).

The candlestick chart of the weekly time-period is shown below;

This week's candle is the second bullish candle in the past three months. These bullish candles are formed after the six successive bearish candles.

The bodied of so formed bullish candles are large and it represents a positive sentiment of an investor. However, in these bearish trends where the market is making consistently lower lows, these bullish trends could be numbness before the storm. All the investor needs to be cautious about it.

The market started its upward movement after hitting the lowest point since December 2015. The NEPSE index went below 1100 points and in the last two weeks, it has swiftly improved 50 points.

NEPSE Chart Analysis:

On the daily time period, the candles with comparatively larger bodied have formed.

The last candle on the daily time period has a larger shadow on the downside which expresses that the buyers have overcome the selling pressure. The other candles except Thursday's, shows the buying pressure in the market.

However, looking at the prior bullish candles of this week, we can observe that the shadows on the down sides are very small but then again, the candle of the last two days are ramblingly showing the weakness of this upward trend.

The 5-days EMA (blue line) is above the 20-days EMA (red line) that is favoring a bullish trend. 9 out of last 13-days candles are bullish.
