Unilever Nepal 23rd AGM today; to endorse Rs 1020 dividend per share

Unilever Nepal Limited (UNL) is convening its 23^rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) today (Ashwin 4, 2073).  The AGM is going to be held at Pearl Hall, Trade Tower, Thapathali, Kathmandu at 4:00 PM. Main agendas of the AGM are:

• To endorse cash dividend of 1020 per share from the net profit it earned from the fiscal year 2072/73.
• Financial highlights of 2072/73.
• To appoint auditor.
• To elect BOD member from public shareholders group.
• To approve the increment of salary and other services of managing director.
• To endorse financial support under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Only the shares registered one day ahead of trading day of the book closure date i.e. Bhadra 16, 2073 are eligible for the dividend. The register of its shareholders remained close from Bhadra 19 2073 till Ashwin 4, 2073 for the purpose of its AGM. UNL is a subsidiary company of the Hindustan Unilever Company which owns 80% stake in the company and rest 20% is owned by the general public of Nepal. The multinational company had earned profit of Rs 1.04 arba in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2072/73.
