Turnover is very low post Dashian; Market closed losing minimal value today

NEPSE index has declined today by 1.98 points or 0.16%. The market today had opened at 1,246.75 points and closed at 1244.54 points.

Total turnover worth Rs 16.98 crore was witnessed during the trading hours as more than 7.30 lakh unit shares were traded in the whole day through 3,499 transactions. The turnover was very low today.

Prabhu Bank Limited(PRVU) stood ahead in terms of turnover as more than 3.25 crore worth of shares were traded.

Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) limited had also topped in terms of number of shares traded as 130,848 unit shares of PRVU were exchanged.

Likewise, the top gainer for the day is Nepal Sewa Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd (NSEWA) whose price increased by 3.95% closing at Rs. 632.

Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) was the top loser of the day by losing 4.5% on its price, closing at Rs 1442.

The sub-indices for Finance, Microfinance,Others, Hydro Power, Development Bank and Hotels sectors inclined and landed in green zone. Similarly, the sub indices for rest of the sectors declined and landed in the red zone. The Manufacturing and Production sector lost the most today tumbling by 2.78% points; Hotels sector was the top gainer with 1.19% increment.
