Turnover amount further plunges, Green Dev Bank ends up in red

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) Index has dropped by just 0.81 points today (0.06%) to close trading at 1462.23. Green Development Bank, that was trading at positive circuit levels the last few days ended up in red after losing 42 points (6.75%). Today, Nepse Index opened at 1463.04 points, and slipped to 1457.03 in the second trading hour. However, it rebounded and closed at 1462.23 points. Over 6.47 lakh units of Nabil Balance Fund 1 (NBF1) and over 1 lakh units of Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) were traded the most today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 30.94 crore, out of which more than Rs 3.63 crore (over 10% of total turnover) was contributed solely by transactions of Prabhu Bank. The total transaction amount has plunged further by Rs 4 crore today. Today, 12.17 lakh unit shares were traded through 3,116 transactions. Janautthan Samudayik Laghubitta Bikas Bank (JSLBB) and Tinau Development Bank Limited (TNBL) were the highest gainers. Kalika Microcredit Development Bank, that had reached positive circuit level today as well, fell slightly and ended up gaining 5.84%. Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) and Khanikhola Hydropower Company Limited (KKHC) lost the most today. Sensitive index dropped by 0.15 points whereas float index also decreased by just 0.08 points.
