Triveni Bikas Bank 12th AGM today; to endorse 10.80% bonus & 50% right shares

Triveni Bikas Bank Limited (TBBL) is conducting its 12th AGM today (Poush 27, 2072). The AGM is going to be held at Hotel Global, Bharatpur, Chitwan. The main agendas of the meeting are: To endorse 10.80 % bonus share from the net profit earned in the last fiscal year.

• To increase the authorized capital to Rs 2.50 arba.
• To issue 2:1 (50%) right share after bonus share is issued.
• To amend the article of the association to increase the issued capital and paid up capital.
• Authorize BOD to initiate merger or acquisition process with other banks and financial institutions.
• To change the Promoter and ordinary shareholders’ share structure to 51:49 from the present 67.75:32.25

Other agendas of the meeting are are financial highlights of 2070/71, appointment of the auditor, endorse the help provided to earthquake victims and to elect 8 BoD members (5 members representing promoter shareholders group and 3 members representing the public shareholders group.) Only those shareholders owning shares till Poush 12 is entitled to the dividend of the company. The register of their shareholders has been closed from Poush 13 till today (Poush 27, 2072) for the purpose of its AGM.
