Trading of Taragaon Regency Hotel halted after regulation infringement; NEPSE asks for clarification

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has published a notice regarding the trading halt put on Taragaon Regency Hotel (TRH) for infringement of regulations.

As per the AGM notice published by the company on 1^st Jestha, 2076, the book closure date was on 3^rd Jestha, 2076. But as per the laid down law, any information regarding the book closure of the company must be informed at least seven days before such date.

Since the company did not comply with this rule, trading of the scrip has been halted until further notice. Moreover, NEPSE has asked for clarification from the company official within a period of 24 hours.
