Trading of scrips of NMB resumes in NEPSE from today

The trading of scrips of "NMB" has now been resumed in Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) after the successful merger between NMB Bank, Bhrikuti Bikas Bank, Clean Energy Development Bank, Pathibhara Bikas Bank and Prudential Finance. These financial institutions had entered into a merger process a year ago and finally the trading of shares of NMB Bank has started in NEPSE from today. NMB Bank had a paid up capital of Rs 2 billion, while that of Prudential is Rs 483 million, Bhrikuti’s paid-up capital is Rs 423.78 million and Pathibhara has a paid-up capital of Rs 115 million also, Clean Energy has a paid-up capital of Rs 1.14 billion. After the merger NMB has a capital of Rs 6.20 arba. It has mobilized a deposit of Rs 54 arba and dispersed a loan of Rs 41 arba. NMB Bank will be providing its services from 69 of its branches throughout Nepal.
