Suryodaya Laghubitta’s 4th AGM on Chaitra 12; to endorse 70% right share

Suryodaya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SLBS) is going to conduct its 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Chaitra 12, 2073. The AGM is being held at Paluwa Montessori (old Agricultural Dev Bank building), Putalibazar – 5, Syangja at 8:00 AM. The main agendas of the AGM are:
  1. To increase its issued and paid up capital to Rs 6.80 crore from Rs 4 crore by issuing right shares in the ratio 10:7
  2. To expand its services to 5 more districts: Palpa, Arghakhanchi, Kaski, Tanahun and Gorkha
  3. To provide authority to the BOD to expand the services of the microfinance to more districts if instructed by Nepal Rastra Bank
  4. To increase the allowance of BOD members
  5. To amend the Article of Association and Memorandum of Association if recommended by regulatory authorities
  6. To elect 2 directors from general public
Other agendas of the AGM include financial highlights of the FY 2072/73 and appointment of auditor. The register of their shareholders will remain closed from Falgun 28 to Chaitra 12, 2073 for the purpose of this AGM. Only those shareholders holding shares one trading day ahead of the book closure date i.e. Falgun 26 are eligible for participation in the AGM. SLBS has earned net profit of Rs 1.49 crore in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2073/74. Its paid up capital currently remains at Rs 4 crore. After the issuance of 70% right share, its paid up capital will reach Rs 6.80 crore.
