Surya Life Insurance to auction its unsold 74,384 units from today; Applications can be placed for minimum 100 units

Surya Life Insurance Company Limited (SLICL) is selling its unsold right shares via auction from Shrawan 16, 2075 i.e. today. The life insurance company is selling 74,384 units (3,289 units promoters and 71,095 units ordinary) shares till Shrawan 23, 2075.

The interested bidders can place bids for minimum 100 units for both the shares of promoters group as well as ordinary group. Bidders can place bids for maximum 3,289 units of promoters and 20,000 units of ordinary shares. The minimum bid price has been set as Rs 100, i.e. the bidders need to place their bids above Rs 100.

NIC Asia Capital has been appointed as the issue manager for the auction of the right shares.

The life insurance company has urged the bidders to deposit their bid amount in A/C no 5441451025524020 of NIC Asia Bank Limited maintained in the name of NIC Asia Capital.

SLICL’s current paid-up capital is Rs 72.18 crore. After the adjustment of 40% right shares, the paid-up capital of the company will reach Rs 1.01 arba. The company has already proposed 12% bonus shares which will increase its capital to Rs 1.13 arba.

Recently, the company has proposed the issuance of 70% right shares which will take its capital to Rs 1.92 arba. After the issuance of 70% right shares, the paid up capital of the life insurance company will reach Rs 1.92 arba and it will need to raise the capital by about Rs 8 crore to meet the minimum capital requirement.
