Surya Life Ins 7th AGM on Ashwin 22; to increase authorized capital from Rs 50 cr to Rs 2 arba

Surya Life Insurance Company Limited (SLICL) is holding its 7thAnnual General Meeting (AGM) on Ashwin 22, 2072. The AGM will be held at Udhyog Sangathan Morang Meeting hall, Sahidmarga, Biratnagar at 11:00 AM. The main agenda of the AGM is to endorse 4:1 ratio right share to the existing shareholders. After the issuance of right share the capital structure will be changed. The issued capital will rise to Rs 62.50 crore. Another main agenda include increment of authorized capital up to Rs 2 arba from the existing capital of Rs 50 crore and to amend article of association accordingly. Also to elect 7 BOD members, 4 from promoter group, 2 from the public group and 1 as independent director. The other agenda of the AGM includes financial highlights of 2070/71, appointment of auditor and to elect 2 BOD members from public shareholders. SLICL had earned net profit of Rs.1.70 crore in fourth quarter of the last fiscal year 2071/72.
