Sun Nepal Life Insurance to Auction Unsold Right Shares from Ashad 23

Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited (SNLI) has announced the auction of its unsold right shares—comprising 80,222 promoter shares and 144,506 ordinary shares—beginning from Ashad 23 to Ashad 30, 2082.
The rights were initially issued in a 1:0.27 ratio, i.e., 10,696,320 units of right shares from 30th Baisakh to 3rd Ashad, but the aforementioned units remained unsubscribed. In line with prevailing regulations, including Directive No. 21 of the Securities Registration and Issuance Regulation 2073, the company has opted to auction these shares through sealed bidding.
Interested individuals, companies, and institutions may submit sealed bids within the specified period. The minimum bid rate per share has been set at Rs. 100.
For promoter shares, a minimum of 1,000 units must be applied for, while ordinary shares require a minimum of 100 units. Promoter share applications may be submitted for up to 80,222 units, and ordinary shares for up to 144,506 units, within the individual limits prescribed by the Insurance Board.
