STOCK WATCH: Last day to clinch 12.063 percent dividend of Alliance insurance company

Today is the last day for the investors to get hold of the dividend pledged by Alliance Insurance Company (AIC) for the fiscal year 2070/71.
AIC is closing its shareholder register book from tomorrow (Poush 3) to convene its annual general meeting (AGM).
The company has scheduled its AGM on Poush 18, 2071. Only those investors buying shares of the bank till today (Wednesday) will be entitled for the dividend that it has announced for the fiscal year 2070/71.
Company has proposed “Prabhu Insurance Company” as a new name, which is subject to approval. Prabhu Group had recently purchased around 40 percent shares from BK Shrestha and his group. As Prabhu has become a major share holder, company has decided to change its name accordingly.
Company has already proposed 12 percent bonus and 0.63 percent cash dividend to its shareholders from the profit of FY 2070/71
