Stock Market shows signal of stability; Index declined by meager 0.61 points; Turnover above Rs 50.87 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) dropped by 0.61 points or 0.04% to close at 1553.90 points. Nepse Index opened at 1554.51 points today and the local bourse was seen in sideways movement. 89,401 units shares of Deva Bikas Bank Limited (DBBL) and 36,916 unit shares of Sagarmatha Finance Company Promoter Shares (SAFLPO) were traded most today. Arun Finance (ARUN)’s price went up by 8% was traded at Rs. 251 per share in the first trading hour. It eventually closed losing Rs. 19 on yesterday’s LTP to close at Rs. 212. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 50.87 crore where more than 6.81 lakh units shares were traded through 3,742 transactions. Sensitive index went down by 0.11 and float index slightly increased by 0.03 points respectively.
