Stock market increases by 5.62 points; turnover above Rs 46 crore

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) Index has increased with 5.62 points or 0.40% to close trading at 1413.15. Today, Nepse Index opened at 1407.60 points and after that it was seen in upward trend in the first hour of trading up to 1422.59 points. Later, market was seen in down ward trend. 660, 747 units of Siddhartha Equity Oriented Scheme (SEOS) and 205,100 unit shares of NIBL Sambriddhi Fund 1were traded the most today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 46.12 crore where more than 13.83 lakh units shares were traded through 4,047 transactions. Sensitive and float index went up by 1.21 and 0.55 points respectively. All sectors have landed in green after the market closed today. Sub-indices of hydropower sector and insurance sector have increased by 30.71 points and 29.71 points respectively.
