Stock Market dwindled by 17.89 points to close at 1751 points; Turnover above Rs 71.32 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went down by 17.89 points or 1.01% to close at 1751 points. Nepse Index opened at 1768.95 points and was seen in downward trend. 58,246.unit shares of Janata Bank Nepal Limited and 50,855 unit shares of Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited were traded most today. Civil Bank Limited and Synergy Finance Limited hit circuit break today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 71.32 crore where more than 7.64 lakh units’ shares were traded through 4,553 transactions. Sensitive and float index went down by 4.32 and 1.34 points respectively. Except others, all sectors at Nepse landed in red. Insurance sector plunged by 133.46 points.
