Stock Market continues to decline; Index tumbled by 4.62 points with turnover of Rs 75.34 crore

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) lost 4.62 points or 0.26% to close at 1749.10 points today. Nepse Index opened at 1753.81 points and went up to 1755.65 points during the first trading hour of the day and after that it was seen on downward trend. 320,137 unit share of Nabil Balance Fund-1(NBF-1) and 71,008 Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited (NBB) were traded more today Bank of Kathmandu Lumbini Limited and Jyoti Bikas Bank Limited (JBBL) hit circuit break today as both the bank starts it’s trading after successful merger. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 75.34 crore, where more than 11.10 lakh units’ shares were traded through 4,270 transactions. Manual turnover was seen of Rs 22.24 lakh. Sensitive and float index went down by 0.97 and 0.3 points respectively. Except others and Manufacturing & Production sector, all the sectors at Nepse landed on red.
