Stock Market closes positively by 6.25 points before Tihar Festival; Turnover above Rs 69.64 crore

On the last trading day before Tihar festival, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went up by 6.25 points or 0.36% to close at 1759.71 points.
Nepse Index opened at 1753.86 points and it dipped to 1752.67 points during the first trading hour of the day after that it was seen in upward trend.
128,831.unit share of Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited (MBL) and 104,400 Siddhartha Equity Oriented Scheme (SEOS) were traded most today
Janauthhan Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (JSLBB), Vibor Society Development Bank Limited (VSDBL), Civil Bank Limited (CBL) and Srijana Finance Limited (SFFIL) hit circuit break today.
The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 69.64 crore, where more than 1.01 lakh units’ shares were traded through 4,532 transactions.
Sensitive and float index went down by 1.4 and 0.56 points respectively.
Except Hotels, Finance and Insurance, sub-indices of all trading groups landed in green. Development Bank sector rises by 18.17 points.
Sub-indices of Hotels , Finance and Insurance group dipped by 15.56 points, 2.57 points and 41.23 points respectively,
