Standard Chartered revises proposed stock dividend to 25% from 15%; Proposed cash dividend slashed to 19.21%

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd. (SCB) has informed NEPSE on 2072-11-10 that the 340th BOD meeting of the company held on 2072-11-10 has revised the previously proposed distribution of dividend. SCB now proposes 25% stock dividend and 19.21% cash dividend and is subjected to the approval from NRB and its upcoming AGM. The paid up capital of SCB Rs at 2.24 arba, after 25% stock dividend it will reach Rs 2.8 arba. Earlier the 337th BOD Meeting of the Standard Chartered Bank Ltd., held on 2072-08-21 had proposed distribution of 15% Stock Dividend(Bonus Shares) and 27.11% Cash Dividend to their Shareholders. As it failed to gain approval from the Nepal Rastra Bank, SCB was forced to revise its proposed dividend.
