Standard Chartered Bank 29th AGM today; to endorse 25% stock & 19.21% cash dividend

Standard Chartered Bank Limited is holding its 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today (Jestha 21, 2073). The AGM is going tobe held at 11:30 at Army Officers Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu. The main agendas of the meeting are:

• To endorse 25% bonus share  and 19.21 percent cash dividend including for tax purpose to its shareholders from the net profit earned in the last fiscal year.
• To increase the authorize capital to Rs. 4 arba.
• To increase the issued and paid up capital to Rs. 2.81 arba.
• To amend the article and the memorandum of the association as directed by Nepal Rastra Bank..
• To elect 1 BoD member from Public Shareholder group

The other agendas of the meeting are to financial highlights of 2071/72 and appointment of auditor. The register of their shareholders has remained close from Baisakh 18, 2073 till Jestha 21, 2073 for the purpose of its upcoming AGM.Only those shareholders owning shares till Baisakh 17 is entitled to the dividend of the company.
