Sparsha Laghubitta up by 37%;Shivam Cement traded the most;  Weekly Wrap Up of the NEPSE index

Fri, May 31, 2019 4:23 PM on SS Pro, Stock Market, Weekly Analysis, Featured,

NEPSE index movement:

The index opened at 1315.97 points and closed at 1319.38 points with the minimal gain of 3.41 points (0.25 %).

The candlestick chart of the weekly time-period is shown below;

This week's candle has a very small body with respect to its shadows. The NEPSE has formed the same kind of four candles in the last 5 weeks.

During this period, the market has witnessed some volatile periods however the clear dominance of either of buyers or sellers was not observed.

 This week’s candle shows the well-balanced battle between the seller and buyers. As the tail of the candle is somehow uniformly distributed on both sides.

Despite the huge turnover on the last trading day, the weekly turnover has decreased significantly compared to last week.

NEPSE Chart Analysis:

On the first and the last trading day of the week, we observed the larger bodied bearish candle followed by small-bodied candles.

Despite NEPSE’s gain on Thursday, the market had formed bearish candle on that day as NEPSE was not able to close above the opening price.

The 5-days EMA (blue line) and 20-days EMA (red line) is favoring a bullish trend.
