Slight correction in Nepse; Index down by 4.56 points to close at 1,477.38 points

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went down by 4.56 points or 0.31%  to close at 1,477.38 points. Today NEPSE index opened at 1481.94  points and went up to 1484.19 points during the first trading hour of the day. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 77.59 crore where more than 10 lakhs unit shares were traded through 3,775 transactions. Top stocks by turnover list contains the name of six commercial banks and four insurance companies. Sensitive index and float index went down by 1.09  and 0.27  points respectively. Except Manufacturing & Production and Others sector, all the sectors at Nepse landed in red.
