Siddhartha Foundation extends support to Nepal Leprosy Relief Association
Siddhartha Foundation has extended financial support of Rs. 67,000/- to Nepal Leprosy Relief Association (NELRA) to install 3 water tanks for the use of leprosy affected individuals of Khokana Aarogya Ashram as a part of the bank’s efforts to support communities through corporate social responsibility. Mr. Rameshwor Prasad Bashyal, Deputy General Manager of the Bank handed over the cheque of Rs. 67,000/- to Mr. Surya Prasad Shrestha, President of Nepal Leprosy Relief Association, Maharajgunj amidst a ceremony on Friday, January 26, 2018.
The ceremony was concluded with the vote of thanks and appreciation from Mr. Surya Prasad Shrestha towards the support of the Bank. On the same, Mr. Rameshwor Prasad Bashyal expressed his immense gratification on behalf of Siddhartha Foundation for having had an opportunity to serve the society and assured that the Bank will continue to address the needs of the community and work for the betterment of the Nepalese society in the future as well.
