Siddhartha Bank declares 48.75% bonus share; recently closed 4:1 ratio right shares to get 39% bonus; Paid up to reach Rs 5.25 arba

Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL) has decided to distribute 48.75 percent bonus share to its shareholders. As per the notice published in Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) today, the bank’s 259th BOD meeting held on Mangsir 19, 2073 has proposed 48.75% bonus share (39% after Right shares) to their shareholders from the net profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2072/73. The bank had issued 25 percent right share to its shareholders from Kartik 11, 2073 till Mangsir 15, 2073, those shareholders who had applied for the right share will only get 39 percent bonus share. The decision is subjected to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the bank’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). Last year, SBL had distributed 20 percent bonus share to its shareholders. Siddhartha Bank has earned net profit of Rs 36.98 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2073/74 as per unaudited report. It’s paid up capital stands at Rs 3.02 arba. After the adjustment of 25 percent rights shares, the bank total paid-up capital will reach to Rs 377.5 arba. Also, after distribution of 39 percent bonus share its paid up capital will reach Rs 5.25 arba.
