Shrawan NAV of Global IME Samunnat Scheme-1 (GIMES1) increases but so does Net Loss

Global IME Samunnat Scheme-1 (GIMES1), a closed-ended 7 years mutual fund scheme managed by Global IME Capital Limited, has reported an increase in its Net Asset Value (NAV) till the end of Shrawan.
As per the financial report published today, the mutual fund scheme’s NAV has increased to Rs. 10.64 till the end of Shrawan from Rs. 10.41 in the last month.
The scheme, which was launched with a total fund of Rs.1 Arba, has invested Rs. 89.14 Crore in the shares of listed companies and Rs. 4.05 Crore in non-listed shares as on Shrawan end. Similarly, it has invested Rs. 6.69 Crore in debentures.
The fund has reported a net loss of Rs. 7.72 Crore till the month of Shrawan which is higher than the net loss of Rs 2.51 Crore till the month of Ashad.
