Shiva Shree Hydropower (SSHL) Publishes Q3 Report With Net Loss of Rs. 23.79 crores; Net Worth per Share at Below par Rs. 59.73

Shiva Shree Hydropower Limited (SSHL) has published its third quarter report for the FY 2079/80 with a Net Loss of Rs. 23.79 crores. Up to the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, the company had lost Rs. 28.90 crores.
Although, the hydropower company has decreased its Administrative and other expenses by 46.03 % to shrink to Rs. 3.36 crores up to Q3 of the ongoing fiscal year, its financial expenses have increased from Rs. 27.75 crores to Rs. 31.93 crores up to the third quarter of the current fiscal year, which has negatively affected the profitability of the company.
Similarly, SSHL has made an increment by 49.55% in its revenue generation from sale of electricity and amounts to Rs. 26.80 crores up to the third quarter of FY 079/80.
The hydropower company maintains a paid-up capital of Rs. 1.47 Arba while has a negative reserve and surplus.
Meanwhile, Shiva Shree Hydropower has a negative Earnings per Share (EPS) ratio of Rs. – 16.12 and a below par Net worth per Share of Rs. 59.73.
According to the management analysis of the company, the company has not been able to make improvements in liquidity and balance from the second quarter of the FY 2079/80, which has affected the profitability of the company.
The company informs that Upper Chaku A Hydropower Project of 22.2 MW capacity under the company situated in Bhote Koshi rural municipality of Sindhupalchok district has begun Commercial Operation from 2078/02/01.
