Shikhar Insurance declares 60% stock dividend; Paid up capital to reach Rs 81.56 crore

Shikhar Insurance Company Limited (SICL) has decided to distribute 60 percent stock dividend to its shareholders from the net profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2072/73. As per the notice published in NEPSE today, the company BOD meeting held on Ashwin 16, 2073 has proposed 60 percent bonus share and percent cash dividend for tax purpose to its shareholders from the net profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2072/73. The decision is subjected to approval from Insurance Board and the insurance company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). Earlier, SICL had distributed 24% bonus share to its shareholders for the FY 2071/72. SICL has earned net profit of Rs 31.02 crore in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2072/73 as per unaudited report. The insurance company has paid up capital of Rs 50.98 crore. After adjustment of 60% bonus share distribution, its paid up capital will reach to Rs 81.56 crore.
