Shikhar Insurance achieves new landmark of collecting Rs 300+ crore premium; Becomes the first non-life insurance company to achieve the milestone

Shikhar Insurance Company Limited (SICL) has stood ahead among the insurance companies and has achieved a landmark of collecting premium worth more than Rs 300 crore in less than one fiscal year.

The insurance company is the first to do so in the history of all general insurance companies in Nepal.

With the collection of record premium, the insurance company holds the highest market share of 16% among the 17 non-life insurance companies of the country.

Currently, the insurance company provides its services through highest branch network to more than 3 lakh customers. It also has the highest net worth among the insurance companies from the private sector, highest net profit and largest manpower.

In the third quarter of the current fiscal year, the insurance company had reported net profit of Rs 31.01 crore.
