Seven New Brokers Receive DP License This Morning

The seven new brokerage houses have received a Depository Participant (DP) License from CDS and Clearing Limited this morning.

The new brokerage companies, which are now operational and extending services after having received the brokerage license from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) and subsequent membership confirmation from the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), have received the DP license on the premises of the CDSC office this morning.

Previously, there were 81 licensed Depository Participants (DPs). Following this development, the number of licensed DP members have reached 88.

The seven new companies and their respective broker numbers are as follows:

• Bhole Ganesh Securities Limited (61)
• Capital Max Securities Limited (62)
• Himalayan Brokerage Company Limited (63)
• Sun Securities Private Limited (64)
• Sharepro Securities Private Limited (65)
• Miyo Securities Private Limited (66)
• Property Wizard Limited (67)

The newly licensed brokers began trading on July 13, 2080 (Thursday).
