Selling Pressure led stock market dwindled by 40.82 points with huge turnover above Rs 1.50 arba; all sector dipped by double digit

  On the last trading day of the week, the benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) went down by 40.82 points or 2.40% to close at 1658.09 points. Nepse Index opened at 1700 points and was seen in bearish trend. 294,000.unit share of Siddhartha Development Bank Promoter shares (SDBLPO), and 169,494 unit shares of Civil Bank Limited (CBL) and 139,771 unit shres of Everest Bank Limited (EBL) were traded most today. Everest Bank Limited (EBL) and National Life Insurance Company Limited (NLICL) have the highest turnover of Rs 51.70 crore and Rs 12.50 crore respectively today. The number of transaction of EBL reached 1294. As, liquidity crisis is trending in the market, investors are in the rush to sell their shares which has led in downfall of stock market. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 1.50 arba where more than 16.20 lakh units’ shares were traded through 7,008 transactions.
