See the major highlights of Century Commercial Bank based on its Q1 report

Century Commercial Bank Limited (CCBL) has published its first quarter report based on the Nepal Financial Reporting Standards (NFRS). The bank has reported a massive rise in the net profit by 104.78% in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76.
The bank’s net profit has increased from 13.38 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2074/75 to Rs 27.40 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76. In the first quarter of the FY 2075/65, the bank has Rs 20 crore as Free Profit after Regulatory Adjustments which can be utilized in distributing dividends to its shareholders.
The bank’s deposit has growth rate of 37.53% to Rs 62.37 arba and loans and advances have also increased by 44.33% to Rs 57.54 arba in the first quarter. The borrowings of the bank have increased to Rs 49.53 crore from Rs 1.28 crore.
The net interest income of the bank has also increased to Rs 80.15 crore from Rs 46.54 crore of the corresponding quarter.
The bank’s paid up capital stands at Rs 8.06 arba with Rs 1.38 arba as its reserve.
The Non-Performing Loan (NPL) has also decreased to 0.82% from 1.70%.
In the first quarter, the EPS of the bank stands at Rs 13.59. The net worth per share stands at Rs 117.15.
