SEBON urges the investors to be careful while investing, keeping in view the past and the future

SEBON has requested the investors to be careful while investing in the securities market.

SEBON also pointed out how the government and the board are working towards the development of the securities market in Nepal. The board mentioned that more manufacturing based companies are being encouraged to go public. Manufacturing companies that have a capital of Rs.50 Crore or more, will get an exemption of 10% in the income tax for three years on converting into a public company. Moreover, the board is working towards reducing the sectoral risk relating to the manufacturing companies with paid-up capital more than Rs.1 Arba.

The board has also made the market more investor friendly by cutting down the share trading fee. Also, the implementation of online trading system will happen soon.

Finally, SEBON requests the investors to invest after detailed study about the past performance and future prospects of the company, analysis of the sector and the trend of the market. It is also cautioned investors, requesting them not to follow the noise and rumors and make detailed decisions based on facts.
