SEBON urges investors not to panic; analyzing the fluctuation of stock market

Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has published a notice addressing investors to stay undisturbed and not to go after the rumors. SEBON has been minutely analyzing the fluctuation of stock market. The Board has been trying its best for structural reforms in the secondary market. The Board has implemented much provision for improvement in stock market such as provision of floating 10% of paid up capital as  Initial Public Offering /Further Public Offering (FPO) of real sector, free pricing rather than fixed pricing , provision of issuing bond and debentures by IFC and ADB in local price and addressing conflict of interest. Also the Board is introducing ASBA system from Magh , 2073 in order to reduce the costing of public issues and for transparency and credibility in stock market. The Board is easing investors in ways by providing full fledge dematerialized transaction of shares from Magh last year, viewing market depth and provision of collection of bonus and right share in investors respective account. In addition, the Board has directed Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) to add clearing houses inside and outside Kathmandu valley. Click here for detailed information
