SEBON takes initiation to include sharemarket education and financial literacy in secondary and university level education; pushes all stakeholders to make needful and timely revision in academic curriculum

Securities Board of Nepal, with long term goal to promote share market related practical education in the secondary and university level education, has initiated a consultation effort with several stakeholders in education. the board has appealed Curriculum Development Center, Tribhuvan University, Purbanchal University, Pokhara University, Kathmandu University, Public Service Commission among several others to revise their existing academic curriculum in such a way that proper weightage is provided to share market education.

The sharemarket regulator hopes to receive timely and much-needed support from these stakeholders in sensitizing Nepalese students about different facets of stock market during their school and university days, stated in the media statement from the board.
