Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has already made applications for public issues (IPO/FPO) through ASBA compulsory starting Shrawan 1, 2074. To make the service more effective, SEBON has directed all ASBA-approved banks and financial institutions (BFIs) on a number of guidelines.
Issuing a press statement, SEBON has published several guidelines on simplifying the application form, reducing clutter and accepting the ASBA application from investors only after verifying. SEBON has also directed BFIs to provide compulsory training regarding ASBA to all concerned staffs before Shrawan 1, 2074.
