SEBON & Jajarkot Udhyog Banijya Sangh jointly organize ‘Capital Market Awareness Program’
Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) and Jajarkot Udhyog Banijya Sangh have jointly organized ‘Capital Market Awareness Program’. The program was conducted yesterday in Jajarkot.
The awareness program was conducted in the chairmanship of Paras Kumar Wagle, Vice Chairman of Jajarkot Udhyog Banijya Sangh.
Janardan Gautam, Chief District Officer of Jajarkot district said, “Awareness program like this will help in creating suitable environment for investment in capital market.”
‘The Board has been conducting various programs in order to increase awareness of capital market which is mostly Kathmandu centered. These programs are aimed to spread awareness to people outside the valley as well.’ said Dr. Rewat Bahadur Karki, Chairman of the Board. Mr. Karki also highlighted on ASBA (Application Supported by Blocked Amount) system which is going to be implemented from Magh 1, 2073.
Issuing a press statement, it stated that these types of programs will be beneficial to locals and will help in the development of Jajarkot.
Earlier, this type of capital market awareness and interaction program was conducted in Manma, Kalikot and Birendranagar, Surkhet.
The Board has been carrying out training for investors and conducting interaction programs on capital market to make the program effective in every district of the country.
