SEBON directs NEPSE to introduce automated trading system; to encourage cross border trading

Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has directed Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE ) to introduce automated trading system and also to encourage cross border trading/listing and attract NRN Investors. Publishing a press release it stated that introduction of high tech computerized system has become must in the share market to let foreign investors flow in the Nepalese share market.
Asian Development Bank had provided system worth Rs 3 crore to Share Market of Nepal for automated system on 2064.
This automated system is aimed to develop reliability, security and trustworthiness in share market. The new system is supposed to help in initiating online transaction and provide quality service to investors.
