SEBON congratulates newly elected members of SEJON
Officials of Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) have extended their congratulations to the newly elected members of SEJON (Society of Economic Journalists-Nepal). The ceremony had presence of SEJON’s chairman Pushparaj Acharya, co-chair Prabhat Bhattarai and treasurer Bhagwat Bhattarai along with members Eliza Upreti, Himal Paudel, Sagar Ghimire and Shiva Bohara.
Dr. Rewat Bahadur Karki, chairman of SEBON extended his best wishes for successful tenure of the newly elected officials. Pointing towards the effect economic news have on the capital markets, Dr. Karki stressed the importance of professionalism in such news. Dr. Karki also mentioned that the Board has been working on establishing appropriate procedures in regulating the market, for which coordination with economic journalists is of importance.
