SEBON Approves Two New Mutual Fund Schemes "Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme" and "Kumari Sunalo Yojana"

The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has approved two mutual fund schemes 'Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme 3 (SIGS3)' and 'Kumari Sunaulo Lagani Yojana (KSLY)'. Both mutual fund schemes were approved on Falgun 03, 2079.

"Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme" is a close-end fund that will be floating 12 crore unit shares each at a par value of Rs 10 per share. The sponsor of the fund is Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL), while the fund manager is Siddhartha Capital Limited.

Currently, Siddhartha Capital is managing two closed-end funds i.e Siddhartha Equity Fund (SEF) and Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme-2 (SIGS2), and one open-end fund Siddhartha Systematic Investment Scheme (SSIS) in the market.

Similarly, "Kumari Sunalo Yojana" is an open-end fund that will be floating 10 crore unit shares each at a par value of Rs 10 per share. The sponsor of the fund is Kumari Bank Limited (KBL), while the fund manager is Kumari Capital Limited.

As of now, Kumari Capital has been managing two closed-end funds i.e Kumari Equity Fund (KEF) and Kumari Dhanabriddhi Yojana (KDBY) in the market.
