Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower Selected for Joint Venture in Dudhkoshi-4 Project

Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower Limited has been selected, in joint venture with Vyoma Hydropower Private Limited, to develop the Dudhkoshi-4 Hydropower Project (47 MW) under the Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) model.
According to the notice issued by the Department of Electricity Development (DoED) under the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation, the joint venture was chosen as per the department’s letter dated 2082/05/10. The project will be developed, constructed, and operated by a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), in which Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower Limited will hold a 6% equity stake.
The decision to establish the SPV was formally approved during the company’s Board of Directors meeting held on 2082/05/19. This development marks a significant step in advancing the Dudhkoshi-4 project, which aims to contribute to Nepal’s growing renewable energy capacity.
