Sanima Mai Hydropower reports loss of Rs 6.23 crore in Q3; EPS at Rs 5.92

Sanima Mai Hydropower Limited has been facing loss of millions rupees due to the increased overhead cost including bank interest and depreciation cost. The hydropower is in loss of Rs 6.23 crore in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2072/73.
As per the unaudited report published by the hydropower company today, The company made an income of Rs. 24.94 crore, mainly from selling electricity, in the third quarter, up from Rs. 3.36 crore in the corresponding quarter.
Sanima Mai Hydro has paid up capital of Rs 1.05 arba and negative retained earnings of Rs 2.38 crore. The company has debt of Rs 2.32 arba.
Its earning per share (EPS) stands at Rs 5.92, net worth per share at Rs 97.74 and cost income ratio at 0.83.
Mai Khola Hydropower Project 22 MW is evacuating its power through 132 KVA transmission line as since Asoj 19, 2072 for power evacuation.Till the end of Chaitra 2072, the company has generated the invoice of NPR 24.94 crore. Mai Cascade Hydropower Project 7 MHW has started evacuating its power line since Magh 29, 2072 and has generated the invoice of NPR1.2 crore till the end of Chaitra 2072. Besides this, interest on deposit is also reported as revenue/income.
