Sanima Equity Fund reports slight improvement in NAV; NAV at Rs 9.69 with net loss of Rs 4.41 crore

Sanima Equity Fund (SAEF), a 7 years closed-end equity oriented mutual fund scheme managed by Sanima Capital Limited and sponsored by Sanima Bank Limited, has reported its NAV of Rs.9.69 for the month of Kartik, 2076 which was Rs.9.59 in the previous month.

The scheme which was launched with a total fund of Rs.1.30 Arba, has total investments of Rs.76.95 Crore in listed shares and Rs.2.65 Crore in public issues, right shares and bonus shares as of Kartik end. The scheme had previously invested Rs.75.87 Crore in listed shares.

SAEF has Rs.13 Crore in fixed deposits which is 10% of total fund size and has Rs.28.88 Crore in the bank balance. This figure was at Rs.30.75 Crore in the previous month.

SAEF reported a net loss of Rs.4.41 Crore till the month of Kartik, 2076. The scheme had posted a loss of Rs.5.70 Crore till the end of the previous month.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, Sanima Equity Fund has the highest investment in 106,384 unit shares of Nabil Bank worth Rs.7.96 Crore.
