Sanima Equity fund NAV decline slightly in Magh; has 60% funds in bank account

Sanima Equity Fund (SAEF), a 7 years closed-end equity oriented mutual fund scheme managed by Sanima Capital Limited and sponsored by Sanima Bank Limited, has reported its NAV of Rs 10.53 for the month of Magh, 2075 which was Rs 10.58 in the previous month.

The scheme which was launched with a total fund of Rs 1.30 arba, has total investments of Rs 50.37 crore in listed shares and Rs. 2.21 crore in public issues, right shares and bonus shares as of Magh end.

SAEF has Rs 13 crore in fixed deposits which is 10% of total fund size and has Rs 69.36 crore in bank balance. In total SAEF has 60.18% cash in bank and fixed deposits.

SAEF reported a net profit of Rs 5.09 crore till the month of Magh of this FY 2075/76.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, Sanima Equity Fund has bought 87,681 units shares of promoter shares of  Nabil Bank Limited that has the highest investment worth of Rs. 6.40 crore made by the mutual fund.
