Salt Trading 49th AGM on Jestha 26; to endorse 15% stock & 10% cash dividend

Salt trading Corporation Limited (STC) will be conducting its 49th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Jestha 26 2073. The AGM is going to be held at Tribhuwan Army Officer Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu at 11:00 AM. The main agenda of the AGM is to endorse 15 percent bonus shares and 10 percent cash dividend including for tax purpose to its shareholders from the net profit it earned in last fiscal year 2071/72. The other agendas of the meeting are financial highlight 2071/72 and appointment of an auditor Only those shareholders owning shares till Jestha 11, 2073 will be entitled to the dividend of the company. The register of their shareholders will be closed from Jestha 12, 2073 till Jestha 26, 2073 for the purpose of its upcoming AGM. Salt Trading Corporation is not just the largest distributor of iodized salt in Nepal but also has a huge market share in sugar, too. The state-run enterprise has also started bottling and selling liquefied petroleum gas since the past few years.
