Rise in NAV of Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF), Net Profit surges for Laxmi Unnati Kosh (LUK) in its third month of operation

Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF), a closed-end 7 years equity-oriented mutual fund scheme managed by Laxmi Capital Market Limited, has reported a rise in NAV to Rs. 11.48 from Rs. 11.04 in the month of Kartik.

The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs.1.25 Arba has invested Rs. 79.98 crores in listed shares of different companies.

LEMF has invested Rs. 20.79 lakhs in initial public offerings and Rs. 3.95 crores in bond/debentures. This mutual fund has Rs. 7.5 crores as fixed deposits and has Rs. 50.63 crores as a bank balance.

It has reported a net profit of Rs. 7.68 crores till Kartik.

Laxmi Capital Market Limited has also published the financial report of Laxmi Unnati Kosh (LUK) for the month of Kartik. This is the third time the mutual fund has published its report after IPO issuance.

The NAV for the month of Kartik stands at Rs. 10.27. The NAV was Rs. 10.05 last month.

The fund has invested Rs. 19.24 crores in listed shares and Rs. 10.91 lakhs in public issues. While the bank balance is Rs. 44.7 crores, the fund has invested Rs. 2.5 crores in fixed deposits. The fund also has 1.95 crores in debentures.

Laxmi Unnati Kosh has reported a net profit of Rs. 1.75 crores in its third month. In its second month, the net profit was Rs. 34.85 lakhs.
